This 21-mile expansion of the major corridor through metropolitan Orlando is a signature project featuring four additional express lanes, thirteen widened bridges, 74 bridge replacements, and 53 new bridges. The budget estimates are set around $2.3 billion with a public-private partnership, and this is known to be the single largest project in FDOT history.

AFT’s ongoing role during the construction process centers around PDA, and remote vibration monitoring services for the Skanska-Granite-Lane (SGL Constructors) build team. This construction project is the biggest in the history of the State and is also one of the fast-moving projects. An early study conducted by FDOT estimates to be a 27-year project while the I-4 Mobility Partners have scheduled it to complete it in just seven years.

The skilled engineers and technicians of AFT are helping the build team to meet their deadlines and keep Orlando moving.
